Thots and Players was completed in the summer of 2020 as part of an outdoor exhibition at TurnPark Art Space with The Guild of Berkshire Artists. The Artists were given a space to work within and asked to create something that spoke to their experience in what are now the early days of the pandemic. I used handmade objects, found objects and altered objects and used wood, lots of nails and spray foam to put it all together into a chewed up bubblegum cloud of human experience. Do you recognize those two idiots from St. Louis that pointed their guns at people during a BLM protest?
